On July 23, 2021, an extended meeting of the Board of the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications was held. The meeting, held at the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi, was attended by the heads of the central apparatus of the Ministry, subordinate enterprises, organizations and educational institutions. The extended meeting was chaired by the Minister for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications, Chairman of the Board Sh. Sadikov. At the meeting, reports were heard from the Deputy Ministers of ICT, the central office of the Ministry, managers and employees of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi on the issues on the agenda. At the meeting, the issue of developing and improving the activities of the Joint Faculty of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies and the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics (SF TUIT-BSUIR) at TUIT was considered. The ongoing work to create 11 specialized IT technical schools and 85 specialized schools with in-depth study of computer science and information technology on the basis of secondary schools in new educational buildings and other university facilities in the regions was also reviewed by the end of this year. Along with the successes achieved, errors and shortcomings in the activities of the university were considered. Serious measures have been identified to eliminate them. The opinions of the heads of the relevant departments and departments of the Ministry, as well as the teaching staff of TUIT, were heard on the issues raised at the extended collegial meeting. Measures have also been identified to eliminate mistakes and shortcomings in the activities of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies and Communications named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi as part of improving the quality of education and improving the student training system. On the issues considered on the agenda, a corresponding decision was made at the extended meeting of the Board of the Ministry.
